It\u2019s probably fair to say that there were problems, but it\u2019s also fair to say that the early days around the original Thanksgiving were largely of peaceful and cooperative relationships.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Most students have probably heard the controversies surrounding Thanksgiving, so it probably isn\u2019t too helpful to ignore them. It does not change the fact that Thanksgiving was and is (at least is supposed to be) a time of giving of Thanks.
